Our Breastfeeding Journey
When I was 12 years old I made the decision to get a breast reduction. I was a 36DD and miserable. I couldn’t run and be as active as I wanted to, and would go to bed at night in excruciating pain. One of the questions I had pre-op was “will I still be able to breastfeed?”
The Bathroom Sink
Everyone says “you can’t pour from an empty glass”. I disagree. I poured, and poured, and poured. For almost 2 years I poured everything I had and then some. I can’t say that what I poured was the best I could have, but I still poured.

Mother’s Day 2018
To the women that are yearning to be mothers, I cry with you today. To the mothers that have lost a precious babe either in the womb or after birth, I mourn with you today. I see you and pray that you know you are not alone.

We cried we wept, we sobbed, we prayed, we praised, we read scriptures, and tried as best as we could to distract from our situation. After 5 long days, we finally had answers... I was no longer carrying our Thorpling #2, our “Baby Olive”.
