Extending Your Practice Beyond the Table: Bodyworkers

I have had the immense honor of facilitating bodyworkers in their birthing (or rebirth) of their business and I’m going to share with you a few things that I’ve helped them implement.

The goal for the majority of our sessions is to create multiple streams of income so they are able to continue to show up for their clients on the table without being exhausted at the end of the month from back-to-back in-person sessions.

First things first - get a system that works FOR YOU!

  • A CRM to handle all your agreements and invoicing with EASE so you can focus on what you really enjoy doing!

As a bodyworker you are already assessing their physical well-being so here’s how you can expand and diversify your offers:

  • Create a Workshop Series: This can range anywhere from self-massage, detox recommendations, or another area of your expertise that LIGHTS YOU UP. When it’s something that you are authentically excited to share, people who are meant to receive your magick will be thrilled to join whatever you are sharing so be in integrity & authenticity when you are creating these items!

  • Develop a Digital Course: Hang with me on this one. I know, you became a bodyworker because you wanted to WORK ON BODIES not create a digital course. Hear me out. If you are able to share your unique wisdom, your gifts, your magick, etc. with people all over the world and not limited to just those clients in-person, your income possibilities is truly limitless. (this is something that I dive deeper into in The Rooted Woman Collective because it is a GAME CHANGER!)

  • Partner with other Holistic Practitioners: This is something that I feel like is so underrated when it comes to business ideas and marketing - because it places so much value on community, and being in right relationship with others. This provides a lot of opportunities for cross-pollination and getting in front of a whole new audience that maybe hasn’t heard of you yet! This can look like an in-person event, workshop, or digital offer that you contribute to something. Again, the possibilities are endless.

Diversifying your offers not only provides more value and multiple ways that your clients can work with you (in a 1:many ratio!) but creates multiple income streams that support your business in a sustainable way. You’ll nurture client loyalty, meet them where they are, and build a reputation as a holistic wellness practitioner that extends beyond “bodyworker”.
