You've named the pattern in therapy. Journaled about it. Probably taught a version of it to a client, and you're still doing it.
Existential Kink work goes underneath the story to the part of you that is getting something out of staying stuck — the payoff you haven't let yourself look at because it doesn't fit the version of you who has it together.
Not talk therapy. Not another framework for the pile. A direct, embodied integration with the part of you running the show.
Not the surface behavior — what's actually holding it in place. You leave knowing exactly what you've been getting out of staying stuck.
Not around it. On purpose, until it stops running you from the dark. This is where the shift happens.
You have a pattern that's stuck. A relationship you keep circling. A money story.
A version of yourself you keep promising to leave behind.
You don't have to be a practitioner to be here.
Lay person, healer, somewhere in between — it doesn't matter.
What matters is you're ready to stop understanding the pattern and start ending it.
this is not the right tool right now.
Get the support you need first — this work will still be here.
This work started for me over ten years ago at the feet of women as an autonomous midwife, the person in the room where nothing performative survives.
Along the way I picked up homeopathic prescribing, bereavement work, somatics, and eventually Existential Kink.
Birth and death are the same room, if you really look at it.
Nothing fake makes it through either one.
That's the room I bring you into here, not the version of you that has it together.
The one underneath.
I'm not your therapist. I'm someone who's sat at enough thresholds to recognize exactly what's happening when you stall in front of one.
Not sold separately. This work has an arc — showing up for the first pass without the second leaves the pattern half-turned-over, which is its own kind of unfinished business.
No. I'm not a therapist and this isn't a substitute for mental health treatment.
This is somatic and existential pattern work — if you're in a clinical crisis, this isn't the right tool right now.
That said, if you are not in clinical crisis - personally, one of these sessions moved what almost 8 months of therapy could not touch.
Typically one to two weeks.
Close enough to hold the thread, far enough to let the first session work on you before the second.
Sometimes one pattern needs a second pass, or opens the door to another one entirely.
We'll talk about what's next after Session Two, once we can both see clearly what's actually there.
Just yourself, somewhere private, on video. No prep required - the pattern is already going to be in the room whether you prepare for it or not.
That said, I do recommend scheduling your sessions so you have a gentle rest of the day to integrate without external responsibilities.
